Margaret Theresa Wells

Pegi Wells, of Fairfax, Virginia went home to the Lord on Friday, April 22, 2022. Pegi was born to Margaret Winifred Locke in Philadelphia, PA on April 11, 1930. Pegi was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard “Dick” Wells. She was a devoted and much beloved mother and mother-in-law of Pegi Wells Grant (Tim Grant), Rick Wells (Marty Robinson Wells) and Laura Wells Hamilton. She was adored by her 6 grandchildren and their partners: Nicole Brindley (Stephen Brindley), Shaun Grant (Melissa Grant), Chad Wells (Kristin Wells), Jesse Cunningham (Sean Cunningham), Joshua Hamilton (Carly Greenlief), and Sarah Hamilton. Her legacy continues through her 10 great grandchildren: Brady Kressley, Shane Kressley, Addison Kressley, Ryleigh Kressley, Oliver Wells, Ian Brindley, Maximus Grant, Julian Cunningham, Vivian Grant, and Luke Hamilton.

Pegi retired from the Lung Association of Northern Virginia after 25 plus years of faithful service where she went from administrative assistant to a member of the board. She loved to dance, Frank Sinatra, the beach, Artie’s restaurant in Fairfax City and ANY event where she could spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30pm on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Demaine Funeral Home, Fairfax. A funeral mass will follow at 3pm at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church at 3704 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA.

Burial will be at 9:30am on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Fairfax Memorial Park.
