Mrs. Mary H. Gregory, age 93 of Fairfax, VA passed away peacefully Jan. 27, 2015 at her home. Mary was born June 18, 1921 in Fairfax to the late Roy Augustus & Sarah Williams Hollis. Mary, a lifelong resident of Fairfax, retired from the Fairfax County Fire Marshal’s office with over 30 years of service. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank T. Gregory, one sister, Doris H. Hollis Sheads, and one brother, Carl M. Hollis. Mary is survived by her devoted son Carl F. (and wife Doris A.) Gregory of Fairfax, VA, three grandchildren, Katherine, Deborah, and Barbara, four Great grandchildren, Trent, Emily, Jane, and Kathryn. Mary’s family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home – Fairfax, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22030 where services will be held on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Fairfax City Cemetery.
