On January 24, 2024, passed peacefully at her home in Fairfax City. Born June 15, 1929, in McLean VA to the late Thomas and Bessie Shoemaker (Seaton). Preceded in death by her beloved husband Glenn N. Sharpe. Survived by her sons Michael (Karen) and Gary (Kim). Devoted grandmother to Danny, Ben (Kelly), Tyler, Jordon (Tyler Julian), Will, Alex and Bailey. Proud great-grandmother to Ethan Sharpe and Houston Julian. Also preceded in death by brother Francis Shoemaker and sister-in-law’s Ann and Mary Shoemaker. Survived by brother Elmer and sister Helen Hughes (Sanford). Viewing will be on Thursday February 1 at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Fairfax United Methodist Church. A light reception will be held immediately after the service from 12-1 with interment to follow at Fairfax City Cemetery.
