Nancy Sains Murillo

Nancy Sains-Murillo lost her battle to advanced lung cancer on September 9, 2020 in Fairfax, Virginia. She took her last breath in the hospital with family by her side. She is survived by her father Joseph Lloyd, son Michael R. Sains and daughter Amanda Sains. Nancy was a passionate and dedicated Director of Operations at Destiny’s Tree Service. Her friends and colleagues remember her as being bighearted, feisty with a can-do attitude. In recent years she enjoyed spending time with her pets and working on DIY projects at home. Nancy was very generous with her time, dedicating herself to her children and work. She was also generous to support multiple charities including the ASPCA, World Wildlife Fund, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project. Her spirit and passion will always be remembered. In-person COVID-safe funeral services will be held by invite-only on Wednesday 9/23/2020 at Demaine Funeral home; 10565 Main St., Fairfax, Va from 1:00-3:30pm. Since this is invite-only, we invite anyone to attend the service virtually by accessing Demaine’s Facebook page.
