He was a long-time member of the Centreville Moose Lodge #2168 and American Legion Post #177. “Shack” was a self-made mechanical genius, always happiest when he was taking something apart and putting it back together, whether it be a lawn mower or restoring his cherished ’66 Chevy El Camino and ’66 Chevy Impala. He enjoyed many friends and he was always there to help anyone who asked for assistance.
