She is survived by her loving daughter, Dawn Kabbes and four grandchildren, Lindsey Kabbes and wife, Kaela Pearce, Kelly Govea and husband Mark, Gregory Kabbes, and Kathryn Kabbes.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Carrico.
A funeral mass will be held at St Leo's Catholic Church on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 11:00 am, with the family receiving friends from 9:30-11:00 am at Demaine Fairfax Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairfax Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made in her name to a charity of choice.
