Patricia Ann Mallon

Patricia Ann Mallon passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, surrounded by her family. Known to family and friends as "Pat," she is survived by her husband, William, her sons Michael (Barb Mallon), James, Stephen (Nickey Mallon), and William, Jr. (Rachel Baron) and older sister Virginia (Robert Clutter). Pat was born in northern New Jersey and moved to the Northern Virginia area, with her family, after the start of World War II. The mother of five boys, Pat ran a successful catering and specialty cake business for decades and was a popular community figure having participated in various community outreach, church parish, and other fundraising and philanthropic activities. In her later years, she became an avid fan of the Washington Nationals and had the opportunity to tour the Nationals stadium as well as watch her favorite team win the World Series. The interment is planned at Arlington Cemetery for a later date.
