Ruth Marlene Bergstrom

Ruth Marlene Bergstrom, 90, of Fairfax, Virginia died on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born on May 9, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland to Frank Mueller and Ruth Elizabeth Green. She attended Towson State University. She worked for the National Park Service at the Historic American Buildings Survey / Historic American Engineering Record in Washington D.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wallace “Wally” Bergstrom. She is survived by her son, Mark Bergstrom (Mary), her daughter, Sally Stearns, and her son, Christopher Bergstrom; 4 grandsons, Michael Stearns, Christopher Stearns (Rachel), John Stearns, and Nicholas Bergstrom (Kelly); and 2 great grandsons, Isaac Stearns and Henry Stearns. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA.
