Born in Brockton, eldest son of the late Stanley W. and Ellen V. (Budrick) Stripinis, he had resided in Brockton for many years before moving to Acushnet 13 years ago.
Al received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomsfield Hills, Michigan.
He had worked as a graphic artist for Titleist for 12 years until his retirement.
Al was a talented artist and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Jason M. Stripinis of Acushnet; two brothers, Philip S. Stripinis of Rocky Hill, CT and Richard Graham of Cambridge; and a granddaughter, Anna Jean Stripinis of Brockton. He was the father of the late Margo E. Stripinis.
