Charles Louis Goulart

Born in Dartmouth, the son of the late Louis and Olive (Medeiros) Goulart, he was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational High School.

Mr. Goulart was the former Director of Labor Relations for Comm Electric for 34 years until his retirement in 1990.

He is survived by his five children, Steven Goulart and his wife Michele of Fairhaven, Kathryn Rebello of Fairhaven, David Goulart of New Bedford, Karen Benevides and her husband Joseph of New Bedford and Linda Williams of New Bedford; ten grandchildren, Joshua Benevides and his wife Joyelle, Michelle Costa and her husband Joseph, Jillian Benevides, Christine Souto and her husband Joshua, Lorianne Pimental and her husband Kyle, Alexander, Zachary and Aaron Goulart, Rachel and Amanda Williams; nine great-grandchildren, Nathan, Gabrielle and Charlotte Benevides, Michael and Sophia Costa, Olivia Goulart, Ronin and Serena Souto and Alejandro Castro and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Goulart was also the brother of the late Mildred Frates and David Goulart.

His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven. Burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Fairhaven.
