

She was a 1956 graduate of Fairhaven High School and Kinyon Business School.
Gloria devoted many years of dedicated service to the Tupperware Corporation. She worked in various capacities from senior manager to administrative assistant in the office of Tupperware distribution.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence G. Rose. She is survived by her children, Bethany Manny and her husband Roger; Gwendolyn Arruda and her husband Richard; and Kevin Rose and his wife Tania. She is also survived by her brother, Herbert Valerio; her grandchildren, Sean Manny and his wife Kaelyn, Amy Manny, Abigail Arruda, Olivia Arruda, and Ethan Rose; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was predeceased by her sisters, Lucille Jordan and Millicent Lake.
Gloria was a proud, devoted mother and grandmother whose warm spirit was evident in the life she built around family and friends. She enjoyed quilting, reading, and traveling, and she especially treasured gathering with family, dining out with her girlfriends, and going for walks. Gloria cherished babies, animals, and people alike, and she will be remembered with enduring affection by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In accordance with her wishes, a Catholic funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 10AM at St Joseph’s Church, Fairhaven, MA and a private burial will take place at a later date.
