Jeannine M.S. (Surprenant) Richard, age 76 of Fairhaven, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Ronald J. Richard.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Gaston and Violett (Hubert) Surprenant, she was a longtime town resident and communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Fairhaven. Mrs. Richard graduated from New Bedford High School, class of 1960. She worked at Citizen Bank for many years. Jeannine loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren, she enjoyed gardening, traveling and watching the Patriots.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Saucier and her husband Mark of Acushnet and Jessica Nicolosi and her husband David of Mattapoisett; four loving grandchildren, Cassandra and Alexandra Nicolosi; Wade and Audra Saucier and many close cousins and friends.

Her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 10:00AM in St. Mary’s Church, 440 Main Street, Fairhaven. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in River-Side Cemetery.
