Born in New Bedford, a loving son of the late Alfred and Lucille (Fleurent) Moniz, he was a life-long resident of Fairhaven.
Randy was a respected boat owner and fisherman for many years.
He leaves behind his companion, Lynn Connor, a brother, Ronald Moniz two sisters, Robin Bodeau and Ronda Moniz all of Fairhaven; his niece, Heather Fortin and nephews Franklin Moniz and Chad Bodeau, life long friend Sandra Pease, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral mass on October 11, 2014 at 9:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church on 74 Spring Street, Fairhaven. A celebration of Randy’s life will follow immediately at Knights of Columbus 57 Fairhaven Road in Mattapoisett. Burial will be private.
