Born in Hyannis, he was the son of Kevin and Debra (DeMoranville) McMullen.
He was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. Scott was a hardworking fisherman for many years and a talented mason and carpenter. He took great pride in and was meticulous with all his work.
Scotty was a kind-hearted, understanding soul who loved his family unconditionally. He was funny, even in the tough moments. He had a playful spirit and was always in motion. He enjoyed playing golf, skateboarding, taking walks, and listening to music of all kinds. His competitive nature never allowed him to let anyone win a game on purpose. He could build anything by hand, from incredible snow creatures to any home improvement project. He had a willingness to help those in need and if you were lucky enough to be loved by him, he was always in your corner.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his son, Colby McMullen; his siblings, Alyssa Marshall and her husband Andrew, Paige McMullen, Taylor McMullen and his wife Ashlye and Tessa McMullen and her fiancé Matthew Nielsen; three grandchildren, Raylee, Jonathan and Saylor McMullen; his forever love Stephanie Doyle; grandparents, Wilfred and Carol DeMoranville; his niece and nephews, Claire and Ben Marshall and Noah and Jaxson McMullen; Godparents Marianne Baptista and his uncle Mark DeMoranville; uncles Richard Demoranville and his wife Lisa, Scott DeMoranville and his husband D.J, Stanley McMullen and his wife Kathy and an aunt Christina McMullen; lifelong “brother” Sean Thatcher; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cali McMullen and his grandparents, Theodore and Claire Tetreault, Alfred McMullen and Elizabeth Nickerson, his uncle J.D. DeMoranville, along with his cousins Richard Jr. and Hope DeMoranville.
