

Bob passed peacefully from this life on Friday, April 14 at Ohio Living Rockynol. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ellen (Mulkins) Ingersoll with whom he had three children, Vicky Bogus, Chapy (Carol) Ingersoll and Vernon (Jackie) Ingersoll. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren - Ben (Sarah) Ingersoll, Bethany (Ryan) Ellegood, Kerry (Richard) Hines, Adam (Vanessa) Ingersoll, Kalyn Ingersoll (Jeremy Gann, fiancée), Jennifer (Anthony) Goldyn, Michael (Elizabeth) Zorena and Nicki (Bobby) Grambo. He will miss his great-grandchildren Eli, Eliana, Reagan, Nolan who will soon have a baby sister, Roman, Guy, Angela & Vivian. His sisters Beulah Rugh and Blanche Mighells, and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was very proud of his service to his country and served in WWII with the horse Cavalry and in China-Burma-India. He worked for 37 years at Babcock & Wilcox in Barberton and retired as a supervisor. He got the most joy from working with wood, which he learned from his father. He helped build the home they lived in on Sourek Road in Bath Twp. He built many, many projects for his family and friends.
