Mrs. Pierce will truly be missed by all who knew her. She was active in the PTA at Jefferson Grade School in East St. Louis, Illinois in the 1960’s. She also enjoyed fishing with her husband, Jim and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Pierce; her parents, Edward and Edna, nee Fisher, Burke; a brother, Edward Burke; and a sister Shirley Plum.
Surviving are her children, George F. (Pamela) Sedlacek, Louis (Eleanor) Trost, and Janice Trost; her sisters, Pat Von Der Ahe and Betty (Harold) Ebbing; nieces, Karen (Ken) Paulter and Pam (Steve) Chapman; a nephew, David (Patty) Von Der Ahe; and many other relatives and friends.
