Bill P. Lane

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going out to eat, and walking with the "Bagel Bunch." He and his wife were avid travelers who loved to visit Europe. His friends would always say "He was a good guy," and he will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Myrtle, nee Martin, Lane; his loving wife, Geraldine, nee Majka, Lane; and six siblings.

Surviving is his son, Eric (Melissa) Lane, of Sparks, Maryland; one granddaughter, Audra Lane; two brothers, Wayne Lane, and Donald Lane; one sister, Evelyn Mohorn; his cousin and close friend, Jeanette Boyer, and her extended family; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at Corpus Christi Church, 205 Rasp Street, O'Fallon, Illinois 62269. Inurnment in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois to follow.
