Carol Ann Lynch

As a teenager Carol Ann started her career in the medical field. She was a medical assistant for Dr. Bartsch in Collinsville for 20 years until he retired. She then went to work for several other doctors in Collinsville, IL. After retirement Carol Ann stayed busy and started her own daycare in Fairview Heights. The kids brought her so much joy and several would even stop by and visit with her as they grew up. She was a Christian woman who loved the Lord and was a member of Faith Family Church for 15 years. Carol Ann had many cats over the years that she loved dearly, her most recent was Bitty. She had a passion for gardening and working in her yard. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Linda (Mike) Kitchell of Highland, IL, Kenneth Lynch of Inman, SC, Cindy Lynch of Wood River, IL and Becky Smith of Fairview Heights, IL; grandchildren, Erik (Tabitha) Hadjan of Highland, IL, Michael Kitchell of Clayton, MO and Ricky Smith of Belleville, IL; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Zoey Hadjan, Tyler Cawthon and Adriana Smith; brother, Bob (Maryann) Killion of TN. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Gary Killon.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No services to be held at this time.
