Cathleen Gale Jones

Cathy was born August 3, 1952 in Belleville, IL to Ervin O. and Helen (Kovar) McCoy. She married David Jones and he preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by her sister Linda (Jerry) Klingelhoefer of Belleville IL; nephew, Glenn Owen Klingelhoefer of Johnson City, IL; and her cousins, Don and Diane McCoy of Belleville, IL.

Cathy worked for St. Clair Associated Vocational Enterprises (SAVE Inc.) for many years. She loved watching Saturday morning cartoons, playing games on her phone, and her dear pets. Jerry would help Cathy listen to recorded sermons and devotionals, something she cherished and took to heart, as she loved the Lord. She was a devoted wife to David and lovingly cared for him. She was a cherished sister, devoted wife and loving Godmother to her nephew. She will truly be missed by all who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PAWS, a no-kill dog rescue organization.

A visitation for Cathy will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

A funeral service will be held following the visitation, at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, alongside her husband, David.
