Clara Mae Bullard

Clara graduated from Edwardsville High School and later married Floyd Bullard, of Collinsville, Illinois. Their life together started in Collinsville, then Edwardsville and then Worden in 1967. They lived there together until the love of her life passed away in 1988. She lived alone in Worden until she moved to Carlinville Rehab in 2010. While there she was active in all Therapy Sessions and Bingo games. She had many friends there.

She enjoyed her life loving and caring for her husband and children while spending much of her time studying her Bible, teaching, and singing at churches and revivals in the surrounding areas with her husband and children.

She supported her husband in his sporting events and hunting endeavors. As her children grew she supported them in all their sporting and outside events. In her spare time she loved visiting with friends and family, doing crossword puzzles, word searches, and watching Wheel of Fortune.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandchild, and one great grandchild. She is survived by 6 children, 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren and 2 sisters.

She was the mother of six children; Floyd C. (Carol) of Worden, Donna R. (Harold) Howell of Mt. Olive, Gary L. (Wanda), of Herriman, Utah, Dennis J. (Cheryl) of Carlinville, Stephen L., of Washington, and David A. (Debra) of Virginia.

Visitation: Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral Service: Funeral Services will be held immediately following visitation, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 12 p.m. Lake View Funeral Home, Interment will take place privately at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
