Cody James Duff

Cody was born June 24, 1992 in Belleville, IL.

Cody is survived by his beloved parents, Gerald "Scott" and Shannon Duff and DeAnna Maxine (James) Humphrey; precious daughter, Olivia Maria Cundiff; siblings, Kaley Humphrey, Brendan Duff, Payten Humphrey, Aleah Duff and Meridian Garcia; grandparents, George “Gerry” Duff, Frances Maxine and Lawrence Edward James; aunts and uncles, Bret and Jodie Gibbs, Shawna Middaugh, Wesley James and Jack (Marlene) James; cousins, Dylan (Jess) James, Jaclyn James, Zachary (Lauren) Gibbs and Rebecca Gibbs; and numerous extended family members and great friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Scott Duff and his paternal grandmother, Roberta “Robbie” Duff.

Cody was a 2010 graduate of Collinsville High School and worked as an auto detailer with Auto Spa in Fairview Heights, IL. He loved listening to a variety of music and watching movies, especially The Matrix Franchise. Cody had a caring heart for everyone around him. He was always asking what he could do for others, offering compliments, giving the best hugs and was ready to help anyone with anything they needed. He was peaceful, loving, tender and generous person who had countless friends and a family who adored him. Above all else, his daughter Olivia was the light of his life and he wanted the absolute best for her. Cody’s loss leaves a painful void, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved him dearly.

VISITATION: A visitation for Cody will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 12:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

SERVICE: A funeral service will be held following the visitation, at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
