Daniel John Schmidt

Daniel was a quiet man who enjoyed horticulture, tinkering with computers and flying his remote control airplanes. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Schmidt.

Surviving is his mother, Geraldine, nee Frankovich, Schmidt; his three sisters, Karen (David) Foeller, Beverly (Martin Hrabusicky) Paule and Marcia (Michael) Bach; his nieces and nephews, Jaclyn (Alan) Foran, Tiffany Foeller, Scott (Amy Thorn) Paule, Stephanie (Michael) Martino, Jeremy (Shelby Grissom) Bach and Kimberly (Andrew Weilbacher) Bach; his three great-nieces, Brittney Foran, and Candyce and Isabel Paule; his aunts and uncles, Carol Ann (Edward) Strader, Judith (Gerald) Gruszka and Marietta (Kenneth) Corrigan; and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. at St. Teresa Roman Catholic Church, Belleville, Illinois, Tuesday, December 1st, 2015. Funeral mass to follow at 11:00 with Msgr. David Darin officiating. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
