Dolores Ann Buente

Dolores Ann Buente (nee Berry), 72, of Belleville, Illinois, born March 8, 1943, in Newport, Indiana, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016, in Belleville, Illinois at Dammert Geriatric Nursing Facility.

Dolores was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her time spent with family, especially her granddaughters was precious for all. Dolores was a skilled beautician, avid golfer and tennis player. She had a passion for gardening, painting, decorating and hands-on projects. She was a faithful member at Hope Church. She will truly be missed by who all knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Sylvania (nee Brinker), Berry, and her sister Janice Gehrs.

Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John “Jack” Buente, two children, Michael Buente, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Danielle (Timothy) Stump, of Annapolis, Maryland, three granddaughters, Brooke Buente, of St. Louis, Missouri, Morgan and Sienna Stump, both of Annapolis, Maryland, two sisters, Kathleen VanDorn, of Carlyle, Illinois, and Marilyn Willman, of Greenvillie, Illinois, and a host of family and friends who will cherish her memory.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Krumeich officiating. Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
