

Dot was a parishioner at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Belleville. She loved music and line dancing; she was affectionately known as “Dancing Dot” by friends and family. She also loved to play the accordion and harmonica. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Aaron; her parents, John and Mary, nee Weihrauch, Biekert; and her siblings, Mary Ann Berkel and John Biekert.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Patrick T. (Dana) Aaron, Sr. and Barbara (Stanley) Przybysz, both of Belleville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Debbie Aaron, Gina (James) Hall, Jayne (Craig) Gratz, Patrick T. (Katherine) Aaron, Jr., Charissa Foster, Amanda (Chris) Yarber, Lisa (Pete) Newell, Scott (Candice) Pryzybysz, Nicholas (Laura) Przybysz, Elizabeth Collins, and Billy Collins; many great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; her siblings, Audrey Jansen and Paul Biekert; a sister-in-law, Carol Aaron; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family would like to express their utmost appreciation to the staff family and friends at Mercy Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of Dorothy. A special thanks to Rose, Mary, and Arlene for loving her like their own grandmother.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the funeral home with Monsignor Darin officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
