Dorothy J. Morales

Mrs. Morales was a longtime member at First Baptist Church of Fairview Heights where she taught bible school for many years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, traveling, volunteering and skipping with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Josephine, nee Weissgerber, Bower; her loving husband of 68 years, Albert “Al” I. Morales; two brothers, Russell Eugene Bower and Robert C. Bower and two sisters, Ferne Brown and Martha Butzinger.

Surviving are her children, Kenneth (Carol) Morales, of Alhambra, Ill. and Nancy (William G.) Owler, Jr., of Quakertown, PA; her grandchildren; W. Gordon (Gloria) Owler III, of Valley Center, CA; Jonathan Owler, of Huntington Beach, CA; Jeffery (Danielle) Owler, of Chalfont, PA; Stacy Burns, of Imperial, MO; Christie (Brian Weiss) Bleier, of Highland, IL; great-grandchildren, Amber, Lilly, Lindsey, Sargent, Daniel, Daryl, Katlyn (Matthew) Kilgore, Connor, Eric, Alex, Drake and Madelyn; one brother, Grover L. (Sophie) Bower, of Springfield, MO; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
