

Dorothy enjoyed bowling, fishing, and the St. Louis Cardinals. She attended the Fairview Heights Church of Christ and was devoted to helping the elderly with special needs. She will be remembered as a loving wife and devoted mother of 3 children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rush and Anna, nee Chambers, Bradley; a grandson, Russell Elms; two brothers, Kenneth and Toby Bradley; and her mother and father-in-laws, Bob and Delores Nelson.
Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Richard Nelson, of Caseyville, Illinois; her children, Larry (Barbara) Elms, of Highland, Illinois, Rita (Eric) Ehmke, of Caseyville, Illinois, and Ronnie (Cindy) Elms, of Crandall, Texas; her grandchildren, Gayle Fisher, Lisa (Mark) Woodruff, Chris Wilson, Brent Wilson, Eric (Nicole Fitzgibbons) Wilson, Joey (Rachael) Elms, Amber (John) Garvin, Dawn (Brian) Porter, Eric Ehmke, Sarah (Matt) Vogelsang; 21 great grandchildren; her brothers, Willie Bradley, Bob (Betty) Bradley, Jim Bradley, Jerry (Mary) Bradley, and Gary (Becky) Bradley; sisters, Linda (Tom) Baker, Frankie (Buck) Treece, Betty (Jimmy) Shull, and Judy Moody; a brother-in-law, Robert (Paulette) Nelson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Taylor officiating. Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
