Eric Reid of Lebanon, Il. passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, October 8th, 2021. He was born on September 27, 1963 to Frank C. and Anita Reid of Fairmont City, Il. Preceding him in death is his father.
Eric was a loving husband and is survived by his wife, Norine Reid, his mother Anita Reid and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Eric began his 37+ year career in Information Technology at General Americal Life Insurance company of St. Louis, Mo. followed by an accomplished career as Project Manager for Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery.
To say Eric knew no stranger would be an understatement. His passion for life included tandem skydiving, parasailing, golf, scuba diving, hot air balloon rides, a Brown Belt in Judo, a survival adventure, and white water rafting trips to Colorado.
The family has entrusted Lake View Funeral Home with his cremation in lieu of services and in accordance with his wishes. A private Celebration of Life will be held.
