Essie Jean Warwick , nee Eaves of Swansea, Illinois was born in East St. Louis 5 June 1930. She attended schools in East St. Louis and eventually went to work as a telephone operator. She was raised by her father, Edward F Eaves and his sister Essie. She married Thomas Warwick on 31 May 1958. Essie Jean entered into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on 5 March 2015. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, a devout Christian who took great joy in her church and church activities. Essie was an unselfish individual who was more concerned with others needs and cares more so than her own. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her father and husband. She is survived by her children, Thomas Warwick III, Tamey Warwick-Franke (Dennis) and Edward Warwick. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital or Memorial Hospice. Funeral service will be held at Reiss Chapel in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
