Frank R. Welch

Mr. Welch was a U.S. Army veteran. He also was a member of the O'Fallon Masonic Lodge 576, the Swansea Moose Lodge 221, S.E.I.U. Local 116, and a member of the Belleville Senior Citizen Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice, nee Barns, Welch; his wife, Mary Welch, nee Lunsford; a daughter, Carolyn Rosner; and his brothers and a sister.

Surviving are his former wife, Geraldine Yates, nee Thyer; his daughters, Becky Bunch, Alice Wells, and Claudia McGrath; his step children, Shara (Reggie) Nichols, Sandra (Mike) Eagan, Floyd (Angela) Schwartz, Rick (Joan) Schwartz, Sharon Cooper, and Rodney Maxwell; his grandchildren, Brent (Toni) Turner, Kevin (Debbie) Bunch, Annette (Tracy) Bryant, Chris (Maggie) Bunch, Jason (Janice) McGinthy, and Mathew McGinthy; his step grandchildren, Lyndsey Kay Nichols, Teresa Fields, Pat (Bekki) Nichols, Justin Sampson, Amanda Sampson, Nathan Schwartz, and Derrek Schwartz; his six great-grandchildren; and 13 step great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at Lake View Funeral Home Fairview Heights, Ill. Masonic Services will be held at 7 p.m., conducted by Lodge 576.

Funeral: Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Drew Kramer officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
