Geraldine Elizabeth Wilkinson

Geraldine, affectionately known as “Geri” was born on July 8, 1947, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Floyd and Isabel Pearl Hutchings (nee McCown). She married Clyde Paul Wilkinson on March 19, 1966, in Edgemont, Illinois. They shared nearly 55 years of marriage.

Geri is survived by her sister, Diana (Dale) Daab of Smithton, Illinois; niece, Michelle (Ronald) Schneider; brother-in-law, Dennis (Sandy) Wilkinson of Highland, Illinois; sister-in-law, Sondra Rodenhofer of Fort Myers, Florida; three nephews, Buddy (Angela) Jeremias, Eric (Alicia) Wilkinson, and Matthew Jeremias; along with her very special friends.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Isabel Hutchings, and her husband, Clyde Wilkinson.

Geri was a graduate of East St. Louis Senior High in 1965; and attended Patricia Stevens Modeling School.

She worked at several accounting firms, both in Missouri and Illinois until retirement.

Together, Clyde and Geri loved camping, going on float trips, and spending time with their dear friends.

Geri and her wonderful smile and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association and/or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

A visitation for Geri will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 12:00pm at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm, immediately followed by the committal at Lake View Memorial Gardens.
