Gloria Elaine Ross

Gloria Ross, 81 of Carlyle, IL, passed away, Sunday, May 18,2025, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO, with her family at her side. She was born in Lebanon, IL, on April 15, 1944 to the late Marion and Iris (nee Catron) Spealman.

She was preceded in death by, her parents, a brother, Lawrence Spealman and her beloved husband Ronnie Ross.

She is survived by a sister Maxine Santel of Trenton, IL, brother, Raymond Spealman of Trenton IL, sister, Darlene Lehman of Edwardsville, IL and many nieces and nephews.

Also leaving behind a very special friend, Joseph Rensing of Breese, IL , his children: Joe (Velvet) Rensing, Roby (Cyndi) Rensing, Stacey (Traci) Rensing. His grandchildren: Joseph (Shelby) Rensing, Cassie (Kerry) Hilmes, Justin Rensing, Samantha (Jon) Carter, Dalton (Jennia) Rensing, Cody (Kaelyn) Rensing, Levi, Joshua, and Allee Rensing. Along with many great grandchildren.

She loved playing cards, playing farkle and spending time with family and friends. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They meant the world to her, and she loved watching every one of them grow and attending every birthday or event that she could with the biggest smile on her face.

She brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. She will truly be missed by all who loved her.
