Irvin T. Tinsley

Irvin was an avid sports fan and loved to root for his hometown St. Louis Cardinals and Blues. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Tinsley and his mother, Alberta (Melvin) Henschen, nee Lamkin.

Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Carol J. Tinsley, nee Roberson, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; his children, Craig (Donna) Tinsley, of Pevely, Missouri, Eric Tinsley of Belleville, Illinois, and Valerie Tinsley, of St. Jacob, Illinois; his grandchildren, Fletcher, Austin, and Hope; his four siblings, Leona (John) Auer, Paul (Linda) Tinsley, P.J. (Sharon) Tinsley, and Jim (Diane) Tinsley; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
