Jack A. Wainwright

Mr. Wainwright proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He attained an A&P certification while in the military and his civilian certification at Parks Air College, Cahokia, Ill. He was an avid racing fan, enjoyed drag racing motorcycles, and he was an accomplished auto and motorcycle custom painter (Jumpin' Jack). He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred H. and Mary Jane, nee Krause, Wainwright; and many aunt and uncles.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving daughters, Nicole Wainwright and Melissa (Jeremy Sadler) Wainwright; a grandson, Andrew Sadler; a Sister, Terry (David) Sergison; an aunt, Gertrude Wainwright; his former wife and mother of his children, Diane Schmitt; his faithful companion, Rosie, the cat; and many cousins, other relatives, and friends.

All services will be held privately at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Interment will be held privately in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
