Jeffrey Raymond Downs

Jeffrey was born to Raymond and Paula (Saltzman) Downs on March 28th, 1983 in Belleville, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Grandparents: Raymond and Patricia (Zaring) Downs, John and Hazel (Kingsley) Crooks, Roy Saltzman and Dear Cousin Bob Hohn.

Jeffrey is survived by sister, Lisa Marie Downs-Huels and Brother-in-law Chris Huels, Carlyle, Illinois, Nephews and Niece, Logan Harris, Fallon Huels and Kolten Huels. Australian cattle dog Sasha. I wish I could list all of his lifelong friends and Pastor Ron, that were much more like family.

Jeffrey was an exceptional car detailer, lover of all animals and a jack of all trades that never knew a stranger. He had an award-winning smile and the kindest heart you might ever encounter. He was a talented drummer and was the drummer for the band Fifth Element at one time. He could pick up play any instrument and once built his own electric guitar. He was a lover of fun times, fishing, cars, boating, knee boarding, eating at Red Lobster, cook outs, family gatherings, attending church at Towerview Baptist, reading the bible and adventuring and hiking with Chris, Lisa and kids.

Graveside Service will be at 3:30 pm on Friday, March 12th, 2021 at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
