

Mr. Eaves graduated from Madison High School in 1974. He was a school bus driver for several school districts and he was a score keeper for all sports, especially basketball, primarily for Althoff Catholic High School for over 25 years. He was a member of the IBCA-Hall of Fame and was an avid stock car racing fan. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church, Swansea, Ill., Caseyville Moose Lodge # 4, Fraternal Order of Eagles # 1126, Granite City, Ill., and the Southside Improvement Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Eaves; his mother-in-law, Elsie Rick; and two brothers-in-law, Malcolm Malacarne and Stephen Gompers
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Annice Eaves, nee Rick; his mother, Norma Eaves, nee Rader, of Madison, Ill.; two brothers, Brian (Candi) Eaves, of Caseyville, Ill., Mike (Carol) Eaves, of Granite City, Ill.; a nephew, Keven Eaves; and a niece, Suzie Simmons; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary (Robert Willey) Gompers, of Fairview Heights, Ill., Edward (Joy) Rick, of Collinsville, Ill., Wayne (Lynne) Rick, of Swansea, Ill., and Madonna (John) Cooke, of Jacksonville, Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 30, 2010, at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Sutter officiating. Interment will be held immediately following in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
