John Wesley Bertram II

John was a talented musician, who enjoyed playing the classical guitar and also enjoyed being a guitar maker. In his free time he volunteered at St. Clair Animal Services. John was a member of Hope Christian Church in Columbia, Illinois. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn (Evelyn) Bertram and Walter (Mary) Dingerson.

John is survived by his parents, John and Mary Ellen (nee Dingerson) Bertram; sister Jennifer (Richard Ryan) Ohs; nieces Evelyn Ohs, Catherine Ohs, and Marian Ohs; and nephew Ryan Ohs and a dear number of relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.

Funeral: Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill., 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens following the service.
