Joseph W. Restoff

Joseph was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s fan whom rarely missed a game. He enjoyed fishing, working, and building anything with wood. Joseph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Mary, nee Purcell, Restoff.

Surviving is his loving wife of 38 years, Nancy, nee Arthur, Restoff; his children, Charles R. (Bonnie) Painter, of Pueblo, Colorado, Rodney A. (Jaime) Painter, of Caseyville, Illinois, and Angela F. (Colin) Hilton, of St. Charles, Missouri; his team of grandchildren, Kyle, Amanda, Kayley, Angel, Natasha, Codi, Laci, Gage, Alyssa, Dylan Braylon, Landon, and his first great-grandbaby due in January. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
