Joyce Alene Pearce

Joyce was a nurse for over 40 years, and was known for her ability to take care of the sick and injured. The family knew her as a caring Mother and the neighborhood Nurse. Joyce will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Joyce’s family requests she be remembered for her loyalty and compassion, not the sadness of her passing.

Joyce is survived by her daughters: Lisa (nee Pearce) and Tim Young, Suzanne Pearce, Sons: Richard (Rick) and Anissa (nee Rhoda) Pearce, Ronald (Ron) Pearce, Grandchildren: Christina Smith, Melissa (nee Smith) and Anthony (Tony) Guithues, Amy (nee Smith) and Kurt Osterhage, Tori Pearce and Ashleigh Pearce, Great-Grandchildren: Ethan Smith-Cronin, Eden Guithues, and Gabriella Guithues, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208, US, on March 31, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on April 1, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will take place at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208, US, on April 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Committal Service will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208, US, on April 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
