

Judith Ann Kicielinski, 79, passed on March 26, 2026, at 5:35 pm. Born October 29, 1946, in East St Louis, Judith lived at Eden Village in Glen Carbon, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Romana Kicielinski.
Judith is survived by her cousins, Patricia Engle Beckner, JoAnn Kicielinski Hopcus, Donna Karlak Hayden, Philip Czapla, Arlene Karlak Harrison, Diana Karlak, and her best friend, Tina DeBlazio.
A proud graduate of E. St. Louis Senior High School, she attended Holy Rosary Elementary School in Fairmont City, IL, in her earlier years. She went on to build a dedicated career with AT&T, from which she later retired. Judith had a creative spirit and was a talented artist. She also had a passion for knitting and took great pride in her collection of dolls, often creating and sewing clothing for them.
The family would like to thank the staff of nurses and caretakers in the Memory Care Unit of Eden Village, along with the Hospice Nurses at Vitas, for their compassionate care of their cousin Judith.
In her younger years, Judith cherished traveling with her parents. She also enjoyed the companionship of her ladies’ group, gathering for an occasional lunch filled with laughter and friendship. Above all, Judith had a deep love for her cats, who brought her comfort and joy over many years.
Visitation will be held at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208, on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on April 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Judith will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Gardens.
