June grew up in Wyoming as her father was a ranch hand, and they spent many years working and camping in the beautiful lands of the northwest. After returning to Illinois, she began work at First National Bank. She was active in her children’s lives and participated in Girl Scouts, sports, and PTA while they were growing up. She enjoyed bowling and country music, attending many concerts over the years. She may best be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, laughing with family until the very end.
