Kim graduated from SIU-E with a bachelor’s degree. He worked in the grocery industry: Tri-City Foods and Shop ‘n Save; and retired from SuperValu.
Kim loved dogs and enjoyed listening to country music.
Kim was preceded in death by his father, Charles S. Stewart, mother, Janice L. (nee Blessing) Pellegrini, wife, Georgette (nee Baum) Stewart, and son, Duane Stewart.
Kim is survived by Children: Todd (Julie) Stewart, Steven Stewart (Sheryl Heizer), and Dana (Mike) Link. Grandchildren: Brandy, Cassidy, Jack, Kadin, Brayden, Devin, Nolan; and several half-siblings.
A visitation for Kim will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM at 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kim’s memory may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society, 1301 S. 11th Street, Belleville, Illinois 62226.
