Mrs. Herin was a loving mother and grandmother, her granddaughter, Jewel Madelyn, meant the world to her and was the apple of her eye.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Norma, nee Theriac, Briggs; and a son, Frederick “Fred” J. Herin.
Surviving are her son, Frank (Barbara) D. Herin Jr., of Herrin, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jewel Madelyn Herin, Marilyn and Christopher Camden; a great grandchild, Brooklyn Graves; a niece, Candice Herin; a great niece, Kyria Gentry; her brothers, Danny, Fred, Lester Briggs; a sister, Debbie Briggs, and a sister-in-law and best friend, Karen Pattison.
