Mary Jane Castle

Mary worked for over 30 years with Our Lady of the Snows Shrine in Belleville, Illinois. She was an avid reader and enjoyed embroidery and needle work. She had a green thumb and loved gardening growing flowers and plants alike. She was a loving mother, grandma, and sister, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Castle; her parents, Troy B. and Floy Mae, nee Jones, Green; and her siblings, Katherine Cathers, James Green, Cecil Green, Billy Joe Green, and William Green.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Paula (Tom, Sr.) Hottenrott and Debbie (Edward) Ciardi; her grandchildren, Patricia Poole, Christina (Michael) Docksteiner, Thomas (Crissy) Hottenrott, Jr., David (Vicki) Hottenrott, Brian (Erin) Hottenrott, Lia (Nathan) Poppe, Nicci Ciardi, Alanna Ciardi, and Kayla Ciardi; great grandchildren, Daniel, Lamonte, Dee, Al (Alisha), Richard (Courtney), Daniel (Melissa), James, Gavin, Gabriella, Izabella, Sophie, Carter, Kaylynn, Maranda, Hanna, Adalynn, great-great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Niyha, Julia, Lindsey, Journee, Remi, Braydon, Aubree, Ava, Izaiah, Dayton, and Allie; her brother, John Bentley Green; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Joel Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
