Mary Jo. Corbitt

Mary Jo Corbitt (Seibert) came into this world on December 11, 1937 "Naked and Afraid" (one of her favorite TV shows), daughter to Florence and Marion Seibert. She graduated from E. St. Louis High School. There she met Terry Jack Corbitt. AKA"Handsome Jack" who proceeded her in death. Together they had 5 children: Mark Corbitt, Marion Wm.(Bill) Corbitt (Kathy Corbitt), Jo Ellen Malott (Larry Malott), Teri Clerkin-Johnson (Alan Johnson), Michael Corbitt (proceeded her in death).

Many others called her Mom, Mamma Mary, Mary Ho. She impacted so many of our friends lives, there are to many to name. She loved every one of you like you were her own.

Mary Jo had many friends she kept in contact with through the years to name a few, The Alstate Girls, her high school friends, friends from past neighborhoods she lived in.

She loved her grandchildren: Mark Motsinger (Little Mark), Ryan Salge (Ry-Lee), Teresa Weaver (TJ), Dale Clerkin (Daley Do), Tim Corbitt (Timbo), Kristen Corbitt (Kris), Crystal Joseph (Crys).

Momma had many chapters in her life. She was always thinking of others, always giving to others and always kind to others.

Thank you Momma for all of your love and all of the memories. We love you.

There will be a private burial for immediate family only, followed by a celebration of life on August 30, 2025, at the Radison Fountains Parkway, Fairview Heights, IL from 1PM to 3PM.
