She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellenor Merrell., and her first husband, Joseph Jerome Gay.
Surviving are her husband John F. Galo; her daughter, Carol Ann (Gary) Parrish; and three sons, Joseph Jerome (Karen) Gay Jr., James Allen (Pam) Gay, and David Anthony (Cathie) Gay and two grandchildren, Nathaniel Joseph Gay and Gracie Miller.
