Mary Jo Guevara

Mary Jo retired as a Civil Service employee from Edwards AFB in California. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was known as having the biggest, most generous heart. She was a beloved, wife, mother and devoted daughter. Mary Jo will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted V. Guevara, on November 4, 2014; her father, Elo H. Amburn, Sr.; her beloved step-father, Frank Simmons; maternal grandmother, Mary Margaret "PawPaw" Hileman; and a nephew, John Patrick Faith.

Surviving are her children, Samantha Margaret Guevara and Christopher Elo Guevara; her mother, Barb Simmons; a sister, Patricia (Patrick) Faith, a brother, Elo H. (Debbie) Amburn, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the funeral home with Rev. Charles West officiating.
