Melissa "Misty" Ann Marti

Misty was born on April 16, 1966 in Kirkwood, MO to Kurt and Betty Davis. They both survive.

Also surviving are her two sons, Joedy Marti and Keith Marti, both of Troy, IL; stepchildren, Joe Jr. (Susan), Greg (Stacey), Ken, Mark and Nathan (Katie); many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Theresa (Don) Marsan of Hillsboro, MO, Joel (Elizabeth) Deadmond of Kansas City, MO, Michael (Donna) Davis of Cedar Hill, MO, Debbie (Anthony) Barlos of St. Peters, MO, Kurt (Robin) Davis of Maryland Heights, MO, John (Michelle) Davis of Cedar Hill, MO and Nicholas (Amanda) Davis of Dittmer, MO; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Jim) Miller of Portage Des Sioux, MO, Gale Marti of Lake St. Louis, MO, Diane Boyd of Colorado, Donna Marti of St. Peters, MO and Connie Marti of O’Fallon, MO; and her dear friend, Mike Wissman of Affton, MO.

Misty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Marti on September 8, 2023.

Years ago, Joe and Misty owned and operated Borderline Auto Sales in Granite City. Together they were a successful team and the ownership of shop brought countless friendships and memories that are still fondly shared today.

Misty was a devoted, selfless and loving mother to her two sons, Keith and Joedy. Above anything else in life, her sons were her pride and joy. Her love for all children was a true reflection of her heart. Her home was always filled with many children, including Selena, Jacob, Donald, Gregory and too many others to count! She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love will live on the hearts of her family forever.

A funeral service for Misti will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the funeral, from 10:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL, alongside her husband, Joe.
