Olive Ruth DeRousse

Olive was married to Vernon Hammond Webster, in 1938; who passed away in 1971. She married Arthur B. DeRousse in 1984. She has resided in Belleville, since 1945. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, the Zonta Club of Belleville, and had a 50 year association with the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Estelle, nee Kinnick, Brown; four brothers, Russell, Jack, George, and Ellis Brown; three sisters, Wilma Miller, Audrey Hart, and Alberta Brown; and a son-in-law, John Wold.

Surviving are her loving husband of 30 years, Arthur B. DeRousse, of Swansea, Illinois; three daughters, Sandra Lee Wold, of Leesburg, Florida, Lana Mae (James) Kempf, of Lakeland, Florida, and Deanna Lynn (Robert) Hilpert, of Swansea, Illinois; two sons, Vernon Gerard (Debrah) Webster, of Belleville, Illinois and Craig Hammond Webster, of Swansea, Illinois; her 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, four step children, Jean (Charlie) Simpson, of St. Charles, Missouri, Pat (Mike) Moritz, of Boone, North Carolina, June (Kevin) Downer, of San Antonio, Texas and Arlene (Dave) Schwab, of Columbia, Missouri; a sister, Helen Armbruster, of Denver, Colorado; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services were held privately at Lake View Funeral Home with Rev. Drew Kramer officiating. Interment was in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
