Patricia Lee Lally

Patricia Lee Lally entered into the hands of her Lord on Wednesday, August 07, 2024, at the age of 84. Pat was a loving daughter, aunt, and sister. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Pat was legendary for her generosity of time, visits, and gifts to all of them.

Pat was a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in education. She taught Social Studies in Columbia, Illinois and finished her teaching career in El Paso teaching both English and History. Pat was very active in the Alpha Delta Kappa sorority for teachers and dedicated many hours to this very worthwhile organization.

Finally, Pat was an animal lover. She enjoyed many cats and dogs over the years and was active in the Animal Rescue League of El Paso. “Animals are the bridge between us and the beauty of all that is natural. They show us what’s missing in our lives, and how to love ourselves more completely and unconditionally. They connect us back to who we are, and to the purpose of why we’re here.” T. McCagh. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr.

Pat will be laid to rest in a graveside service at 3pm on Sept 9 at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview, IL.
