I was recently thinking about working at Paragon and was looking on the web and discovered the passing of your dad. My deepest sympathy to both of you and your family. Paul was a pleasure to know and work for. Amy still has the two dollar bill he gave her on one of her visits to the office.

It's always been clear that Paul was very proud of his family and loved spending time with each of you.

Paul always encouraged me and was a good friend.  In 1996 he (and Jack) worked with me on a project that had a positive impact on my career.  I appreciated him very much and he will be missed.

I had the privilege to work for Paul at his company, Paragon Typographers. He was a great mentor and encouraged people to believe that you can do whatever you set out to do. He cared about people very much, a quality that showed in everything thing he did. Paul will be sorely missed.

I worked for Paul at Paragon Typographers for 19 years. He was a great boss, always patient and understanding, and my experience at Paragon serves me to this day. I hope he knew how much he, (and his cousin, Jack Whitfield), improved their employees lives, providing a good, steady income and the opportunity to learn important skills.  Thanks Paul. You will be missed.

  We are so sorry to hear our friend and your husband has passed. We think so much of you two and will miss talking with you all. Paul was a good friend and we will miss him. You realize he is in a much better place now. He will have no more pain and sufferings, only joy like any of us still here can imagine.
